App Monitoring – The problem

Microsoft Intune’s App monitoring is essential for maintaining the health, security, and performance of enterprise apps across managed devices. Intune provides several ways to monitor the properties of apps that you manage and to manage app assignment status.

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center.
2. Select Apps > All apps.
3. In the list of apps, select an app to monitor. You’ll then see the app pane, which includes an overview of the device status and the user status.
4. In the App overview pane 🡪 Device and user status graphs
5. We will see something like this graph

What does “not Installed mean”?

Not Installed: The number of apps not installed …. Mmmm

So,If I assign the app to a group of users as available for example

Based on this, it will be the number of users have the app on company portal and not installed the app ??

And if the app is assigned as required, maybe the number of devices the app not installed yet??

The solution

Actually this is not true, as it doesn’t make sense also

So, What “Not Installed” Means ???

It is the number of “Un-Installed” happened for the devices or users.

To Explain it more:

If you have the app installed on the deice , this will count on “Installed” , later if you decide to uninstalls the app from the device, this will count on “Not Installed” and will removed installed record
